| Wednesday Forum - Selling Skills: Keeping it Real! |

|
The days of manipulative sales people have passed – Customers are savvier than ever, and they are well educated. They have Googled and ebayed and they know what they want and how much they want to pay.
So how do you sell to people in 2010? The answer is to ‘Keep it real’. In this high tech world people need ‘high touch’ interaction. Sales people (and by sales people I mean anyone in business as we all sell something) need to get back to basics and connect with their customers in order to differentiate themselves from the masses.
You are Invited to hear from Sharon Ferrier who will share her tips and tricks on how small businesses can effectively sell products and services.
Topics covered:
- Approaching and engaging customers
- The difference between service and selling
- Using active listening skills to uncover your customers needs as well as
wants
- Clarifying the sale for your customer
- Up-selling and on-selling without being pushy
- Closing the sale and create customers for life
